We all know impossible people. Ага! А как вам нравится step #13:
Be the opposite of them: a possible person. Live as an example of tolerance, patience, humility, and even some kindness (as difficult as that may be)--because these are all the things that the impossible person is not or not very good at.
...blah-blah-blah...
Ultimately this sort of behavior is probably the only thing that might possibly get through to them. They may not change in everything, but you can safely expect a difference.

Здорово придумано? В ваших интересах? (Что не работает, это понятно, но придумано ловко.)

Это в Маленьком Принце был король, который всем приказывал, что они и так собирались делать. Тут даже дальше пошли, советуют единственно возможное.

Да, но вот это меня возмущает: "but you can safely expect a difference". Safely my foot! - как выражаются некоторые культурные англичане.

Вот-вот, в этом-то и дело. Нормальный человек так не сможет. Получается, что выхода нет, ведь в статье ясно написано, что метод "по голове сковородкой" не срабатывает. Может, врут?
